The Decision

“We are going to sell our house, buy a van, and travel the country. So can we move in with you for now?”

That’s what we each asked our parents after we made the decision that we wanted to travel full time and not be restricted to the life of the proverbial 8 to 5 job.

It started out as an idea, a goal for the future. And within about two weeks, it became a reality. The first conversation we had was “wouldn’t it be cool if…”. That planted a seed in Zack’s head and he couldn’t let go of the idea. Why can’t we do it now?

2. Buy a vehicle. Check. (More to come in future posts)
3. I will spend the next year focusing on paying off as much of my remaining debt as possible while Zack will focus on converting the vehicle.
4. Hit the open road

Growing restless with her 8-5 job in a cubicle she and Zack were looking for ways to get more fulfillment out of their lives and to do what they really loved. So what better way than to buy a school bus and travel the country!
